Practical Training.
With You Every Week.
Knowing what to practise is one thing.
Knowing whether you’re doing it right is another.
The Accelerator gives you a clear practical challenge every week,
a deadline to complete it, feedback on your work and a live weekly
session to help you improve.
You won’t be learning alone. You’ll be building,
submitting and improving every week.
LEARN
Work through that week’s focused training and understand the skill, method and job you’re about to tackle.
BUILD
Get on the tools and complete that week’s practical plumbing challenge yourself.
SUBMIT
Submit photos or video of your work so it can be reviewed.
IMPROVE
Get feedback, join the live session, correct mistakes and take what you’ve learned into the next challenge.
Every Week Follows
the Same Rhythm.
Each training week Wednesday to Tuesday. Your new training and practical challenges arrive on Wednesday – the week finishes with a live Tuesday evening session where we’ll review progress, look at student work, troubleshoot problems and talk through what you’ve learned.
New training is released and you get this week’s practical challenge.
WEEK BEGINSGet on the tools, start the challenge and put the week’s training into practice.
Keep working through the job and repeat the techniques you need to improve.
Post photos or video, compare work and ask questions in the student community.
Finish unfinished sections, practise again or catch up if the week has been busy.
Complete your work, test it where appropriate and submit it ready for review.
WORK DUETuesday evening: review progress, discussion, troubleshoot problems and answer questions together.

Learn With James
From Plumberparts.
I’ve spent years teaching plumbing online through Plumberparts and Learn Plumbing Online.
The Accelerator takes that practical training and adds something different: a structured eight-week programme where we’re working through it together.
You’ll have work to complete each week, a reason to get it done, somewhere to submit your work, feedback to help you improve and live sessions where we can go through the things you’re struggling with.
The aim is simple: eight weeks of focused practice, feedback and progression.
100+ Five-Star Reviews.
The Accelerator is new. Our plumbing training isn’t. These are genuine reviews from students who have already trained with James through Learn Plumbing Online.
“This course is outstanding. I learned more on this online course than on my 9 day L3 plumbing course and at a fraction of the cost. You can learn at your own pace and have all the videos to assist you and keep going over it. Of particular interest to me was the pipe bending and how to master it correctly. James is a natural teacher, I can’t wait for the next course.”
“This was exactly what I was looking for. Loads of effort and thought has gone into this course and I haven’t been able to find this kind of step by step introduction to the hands-on side of plumbing anywhere else.”
“Having purchased the course prior to purchasing my first home I knew I needed some insight to to some minor plumbing works around the house. Fast track to now the amount of jobs I’ve been able to successfully complete from changing taps, stop cock and most recently a full bathroom renovation from start to finish is all down to this course and valuable content on socials. Hands down well worth it and would highly recommend.
Thanks guys you’ve saved me a fortune!”
“Like James says in the pre course video. Don’t be expecting any kind of official qualification as a result of completing this course.
I personally would say. This course is aimed at the more ambitious DIY’er, or somebody considering plumbing as a career. Now in my early 60’s, I’m very much an experienced DIY’er. Buy ya never too old to learn, and there’s always going to be something you don’t know. This course has by no means, taught me everything about plumbing. But, it has definitely put the icing on the cake for what I do know.
I’m currently undertaking quite a few home improvements, which are/will be including ripping out the bath in favour of a shower cubicle. I will also be ripping out and refitting the kitchen.
This course has given me the confidence to tackle certain tasks I would’ve shy’ed away from previously. i.e pipe bending. Beyond maybe trying a 90o bend and then cutting to size, pipe bending and measuring was a bit of a mystery to me. Now, when doing the plumbing work that will be required when doing the kitchen, I’ll be more prepared to bend pipe rather than use elbow joints or flexi copper pipe to get round obstacles.
I’ll be revisiting this course as and when necessary to refresh my memory prior to tackling those tasks I probably wouldn’t have considered taking on before.
Thanks James & Max for putting this course together, and presenting it in a user friendly and easy to follow way.
Robert (over the hill) DIY’er”
“Thanks James and max, very helpful stuff. I would say it was like simulating a classroom with the essential information being shared in nice short videos.
This series of videos was exactly what I was looking for as an electrician looking to upskill and learn more about plumbing. Looking forward to the next series , great value for money being able to learn from my ow home.”
“I called a plumber a while back for a leaking tap and they put in a flex pipe and tightened it up (not fully) it cost 180 I finished the job myself by properly tightening the tap to the basin, so yeah, thanks James! You have a great way of teaching, and the structure of the course is great!
I’ve done a few jobs now around the hose and saved the money I used for the course a few times over now, and the standards are better then who I called last year because the course gives the “belt and braces” breakdowns.
Brilliant course, can’t wait for the bathroom one, make sure to notify me. Love the Youtube content too!”
“Thank you so much for this course, it is well written, presented and easily learnt from home. I was having issues with bending pipe and soldering. Completed the whole course, made my frames up with no leaks. Thanks again”
“Looking at becoming a full time plumber I have previous experiences but this just helps get to the bare bones of it and make sure you fully understand how to do the basics”
“Haven’t quite come to the end of the course but felt compelled to leave a good review already. The world needs more teachers like James. The material is very well structured and equally well delivered. I shall be looking forward to, and would be keen to invest in, any additional material that is added to the site.”
